Hey there paper peeps! I’ve been tearin up my “It’s Raining Men” kit, and I’d like to share one of my layouts with you! This time around, our Creative Coffee Break is filled with die cut stars, which I am so excited about because stars are one of my favorite things evah!! Plus I added a few other ones just to fill in my cluster…
I love that gold puffy star trim!!
So this year on Thanksgiving we held a “Bargo Turkey Bowl” at my moms house.. See, I grew up in a neighborhood of like 10 boys plus I had 2 older brothers, so I spent most of my childhood outside, playing lots and lots of football, baseball, ghost in the graveyard, etc. So that led me to believe that, oh yeah, “I still got it..” Ummm no. BAD idea.. BAD… My teenage boys did NOT take it easy on their old ma, to say the least.. The next day I was so. Sore. But it was a blast while it lasted, plus I scored a touchdown which will be etched in our Thanksgiving memories for years to come 😉 So thankful I snapped these few quick pics before we played! You know, in case I ended up in the ER or something..
I love spending time with my dudes, all we do is laugh! I am just trying to soak up every last second with them before they take off and begin their own busy adult lives… so bittersweet, but so exciting!!!
I scrapbook because I really want all of us to remember these moments of laughter, pulled muscles, throwing my back out, and look back and smile. They have filled my life with so much joy, I don’t want to forget a thing!
I love pulling inspiration from music, and the other day I heard this line in an Eminem song, and it just struck my heart. I loved it.
Life is fleeting..
