Hey there paper peeps how are you on this glorious Sunday?! The sun is shining it’s a beautiful day! If you haven’t seen, we just released our next amazingly fabulous sparkly kit, Twinkle & Tinsel! I know I say this every time, but this is definitely my favorite kit so far! Maybe because I am an absolute Christmas fanatic?! Haha nooooo… 😉
I started playing with the kit and there is this beauuutiful sparkly paper with snowwww and snow fallingggg I just love the peaceful wintry feel of it! I knew what picture I wanted to use on a layout for sure, and this is what I came up with!
My favorite coat is this mint green one from Target, and I wear a huge sparkly snowflake pin on it! It’s the little things in life 😉 If you have something you love to wear every Christmas, scrap it! If you have a favorite mug you drink hot cocoa out of, scrap it! If you have a favorite simple pleasure you treat yourself to every Christmas, scrap it! It all matters and it will make you happy!
One of my favorite things to do around Christmas time is going to Christmas craft shows and flea markets! They are so inspiring and just get you into the spirit! So of course I had to do a layout about that, I think the things we do around Christmas, our traditions, are so important to document! Getting gifts is wonderful of course, but I mean lets face it… the kids play with their new toys for a week annnnndd they’re done. So don’t focus so much on buying gifts, focus on making memories with your loved ones that you will remember forever! Focus on all the fun you had decorating gingerbread ninjas and throwing your kids out in the snow in their underwear lol!
I adore this green and white striped paper in the kit! I thought it’d be a nice pop of color to the wintry landscape! Also, the white glittery die cut “merry” word can be found in the Creative Coffee Break in the T&T kit, sooo cute!!
Tuck in little tags to document your memories like this one that comes in the kit.. and if you don’t get all of your journaling down on the front, jot it down on the back! Just so you get it down somewhere! That’s the most important part!
Did you know that you can turn your pieces of ephemera into interactive spinnys?! Just poke a hole in the middle, add a brad, stick it through your paper, and voila! Perfect for them days when you can’t decide if you’re feeling a little naughty, or super nice…
These enamel dots are for sale in the shop, I think there’s only a couple left!
The cutest little dear! My mom has like 14 deer living in her yard, they are so darling!
I hope I’ve inspired you to start documenting your favorite things to do this time of year! Making memories is so much more important than the gifts, because that’s usually what we remember 😉
Thank you so much for stopping in, if you want to grab the materials to create this layout, head on over to the shop to grab your kit before they’re gone!
