Happy Monday paper peeps! So happy to be back sharing a super fun project with you today, and I hope you play along! But beware, these things will make you very happy and are very addictive!! You’ll want to make 10!
We all have those darling little merchandise bags layin around right? Well go grab your favorite one, some ribbon, and your Sugar Maple Paper Co. Funnel Cake Kit! If you didn’t get one (they sold out super fast!), don’t worry sweets, there are still a few lovely kits left in the shop, and lots more to come!!
Ok lets get started!
Lay out your bag face down with the opening on your left. Using scissors, cut a little notch out of the bottom right hand side of the bag, near the corner! You just want to cut enough so the seam is open in that little area like here in between the scissors;
Now you want to run a piece of ribbon through the inside of the bag, and through the little notch!
Using a hole punch, make your hole like the one seen here, and place a hole reinforcer around it (optional). I used the gold glittery Heidi Swapp ones! This is what you’ll hang your tag album from!
Fold the front half of the bag over, and that’s your cover! I folded mine shorter than the back so I can see all the pretty layers in the album stickin out, I love that!
Then comes the real fun part! Decorate the cover and make your mini tag album! In each of our kits you get a “Creative Coffee Break,” which is a pocket filled with fun little bits & pieces to play with! The one in our Funnel Cake kit was beautiful butterflies and a few other pretty little things, so I knew I wanted to do something super cute that would showcase them! A mini tag album with butterfly wings stickin out all over? Oh yes. Perfect! Come on I’ll show you the inside!
A tassel is always the perfect thing to top a mini tag album! So cute!
In the Funnel Cake kit I threw in a 3×4 Project Life pocket that is meant to be used with the Fuse Tool! I love making sequin pockets now ugh I am hooked! These stunning sequins are from Spiegel Mom Scrap Shop!
Mix in some cute tags and cut aparts!
Instax pictures are the perfect thing for little albums like this one! But you don’t have to use them of course, you can just crop your photos to fit 😉
I adore these ampersand stickers by Jen Hadfield for Pebbles Inc.! And of course vellum adds the loveliest soft touch to layering!
Make some easy filler pages out of cute patterned paper!
Now I’m going to write a few love letters in here for my boys, and it’s all done!
I am absolutely in love with this thing! I just love holding it in my hand, it is so little and chunky and cute! Can’t wait to see yours, you’re going to love it!
Now get busy!! 😉
